After taking a three-series hiatus from The X Factor, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini finally felt confident enough to return this year, and it looks like a certain someone might be following in her footsteps.
While her brief cameo caused rather a stir this year (probably because she wasn’t wearing any clothes), Tulisa has hinted that the might have a more permanent role in the future.
This could be VERY interesting!
Citing Chez as her influence, the 26-year-old admitted that she ‘could’ and ‘would’ return to the show now what she’s sorted her life out.
She told MailOnline: “Going back to The X Factor is something I feel I could definitely do now because of the place I’m in.
“I understand with that show that for anyone doing it, it takes a lot of energy and you have to feel it and want to do it and you have to have that passion.”
She added: “The place I’m in now, I definitely have that back again, and it something that I would and could do.”
Are you trying to tell us something, Tul?!
The star quit the TV talent show after just two series’, after things in her professional and personal life took a turn for the worse, admitting that she’d lost her ‘passion’ for the whole thing.
She said: “I never let it affect my job, I still wanted to be there, don’t get me wrong – I wasn’t putting on a fake show. It was just a case of the fight had left me.”
Cheryl had a similar experience back in 2010, admitting that she felt burnt out after returning to the show following her bout of Malaria.
She told the Daily Star Sunday: “I just wasn’t taking notice and I should have listened sooner to the signals just to slow down.
“I got sick and instead of taking the time off I was like ‘No, no, I am going back to work’ and within six to eight weeks I was back on X Factor.”
We think that Chezza and Tul *could* make one heck of a dream team. No?
