Following the collapse of her trial, we expected her to initially ‘Live it Up,’ y’know, because she’s Young, yeah she’s Young.
But alas we were wrong, as Tulisa has headed straight back to work – hitting the recording studio hard.
Well, she has got a lot of inspiration from the last year to work with.
The 25-year-old is said to be working on her follow-up to debut album ‘The Female Boss,’ which is said to still have an ‘urban pop feel’ mixed with ‘darker elements’.
A source told The Mirror: “Tulisa isn’t shy about speaking her mind and a lot of her songs will detail the hell she’s been through over the past 12 months.
“She won’t be pulling any punches and some of it could be pretty dark and twisty.”
Earlier this week, the #FreeTulisa campaign won out after the case against her for allegedly arranging a drugs deal for an undercover journalist collapsed.
During her statement, Tulisa said that she was looking forward to returning to her career.
And it would seem T is a woman of her word.
The source added: “This past week has been absolutely manic, but Tulisa just wants to get her head down now and focus on work.
“She has a career to re-launch and she needs to start making some money. Her record label has stuck by her throughout all of this, so she wants to repay them by laying down the new tracks as quickly as possible.
“She is hoping to have a new single out before the end of the year.”
It’ll be tough, but we have a feeling she’ll just about to top the anthem of a generation, ‘Young’.
