Whitney Houston’s daughter has been placed in a medically induced coma after she was found unconcious in her bathtub yesterday.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, who is just 21, is reported to be suffering with “swelling on the brain”, although it is still unclear as to why she fell unconcious at home, with police not finding any sign of drugs or foul play in her home.
The entire incident is eerily similar to when her mother was found dead in a hotel bathtub on February 11th 2012, with police commenting: “Obviously we all know her mum died this very same way.”
It is thought that the young girl’s husband, Nick Gordon, found Bobbi on her stomach in the full bath at 10.25am yesterday morning, he and a friend tried to revive her but when the ambulance arrived she was rushed to casualty.
Bobbi’s cousins have spoken out on Bobbi’s condition, with Jerod Brown telling NBC news: “She’s been through a lot, you know what I’m saying.
“This is a hard time, it’s her mother’s anniversary of her death. It’s been a hard time, it’s a rough time of year.
“But she’s a tiger, she’s going to pull through it.”
YF Kennedy added: “Krissi doesn’t do drugs. She hasn’t been drinking or doing drugs and she’s cut down on cigarettes.
“She’s been trying to get her music together and keep her voice clean. Her voice is so beautiful.
“She’s still been going through the grieving stages but is trying to keep her spirits up.
“She’s been going to the gym every day with her husband and trying to be happy.”
An insider had previously revealed to People magazine that Bobbi’s relationship with her father, Bobby Brown, is heavily strained, sharing: “I can tell you that Bobbi Kristina and Bobby haven’t been talking lately.
“Ever since Whitney died, they’ve been on again, off again.
“Sometimes they talk, but then they’ll go for months and months without saying a word to each other.”
However, it is believed that Bobby has rushed to be at his daughter’s hospital bedside, alongside her husband, and concerned friends and family.
