We’re literally counting down the hours and minutes until we find out who killed Lucy Beale, but it looks like we’re about to get one big old hint a lot sooner than we thought.
In what is sure to add some serious fuel to the fire, those cheeky EastEnders producers are about to give us a brand new clue at Wednesday night’s national Television Awards.
We. Cannot. wait.
Adding to the mounting speculation ahead of February’s live episode (our money is TOTALLY on Abi Branning), BBC execs will reveal one vital piece of evidence at the awards ceremony.
WHAT THE BLIMMIN’ HECK COULD IT BE?!
Urging everyone to tune into the NTAs, the EastEnders press office tweeted: “Don’t miss a special clue to who killed Lucy at tonight’s @OfficialNTAs! Remember to vote all things #EastEnders.”
Apparently the NTA bosses aren’t even privy to the exclusive clue, which will “remain under lock and key, guarded by tight security until mid-show.”
Okay, now we’re seriously excited.
While we’re racking our brains to think of what the hint could possibly be, we’re not sure whether it’s going to bring some kind of clarity or just confuse us even more.
While the Lucy storyline still rages on, the rest of the cast are up for awards for their stellar performances over the last year.
Our money is on the soap picking up the Best Serial Drama award, while both Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright are in with a good chance of bagging a Best Serial Drama performance.
What a year to be a Walford resident, eh?!
