Megastar Will Smith made a surprise appearance at T in the Park Saturday night when he introduced  DJ Calvin Harris to the stage for his headline show. This is coming just days after the pair posed for selfies together when they met in Ibiza. The world is now a decidedly better place when these things can happen.

The Fresh Prince shocked the gather crowds as he took to the stage at the start of Harris’ late night set where he told the revellers, “Ladies and gentleman, I present to you – Scotland’s own, Calvin Harris.”

Calvin played a wall to wall hit packed set for over an hour with his usual brand of fiery pyrotechnics and eye searing (in the best way possible) LED light show. Despite the pouring rain that continued throughout then night, the festival goers turned the Main Stage and it’s surroundings into a full blown rave.

Will Smith reappeared behind the decks with Harris for the final ten minutes of the performance to massive applause, finishing by saying, “Scotland, I love you.”

Then we pretty much exploded. If something this amazing could happen at every festival we would appreciate it.

The day also saw performances from the ever-happy Pharrell Williams (yes he had his hat), Paolo Nutini, Katy B, and Nina Nesbitt.

The weekend marks T in the Park’s final run at it’s current Balado home due to concerns about an oil pipeline running under the field (ROCK AND ROLL!). As a result the organisers are saying goodbye with a bang with a weekend of massive performances from the likes of Biffy Clyro, Elbow, and Kaiser Chiefs.

Arctic Monkeys will be the last band of the weekend saying Goodbye to Balado and it promises to be huge set, with rumours they’ll be covering the Beatles’ Taxman during their show.
