She’s earned quite the reputation for being ‘the posh one’ on this year’s X Factor 2014.
And Yahoo Celebrity can now reveal that Marmite finalist Chloe Jasmine was asked to star in the poshest show on telly – but turned it down.
The kooky Marilyn Monroe lookalike was inches away from quaffing champers with fellow West Londoners Lucy Watson, Jamie Laing and Spenny on e4′s Made In Chelsea.
But the 24-year-old turned down the offer to appear on the Sloane Square-set reality TV show before she auditioned for X Factor – because she hates the series.
Our insider said: “She turned it down because she thinks the Made in Chelsea cast are “effectively prostitutes” and having a new boyfriend every other week for the sake of a TV show isn’t something she’d be interested in.”
They added: “Chloe reckons that everyone knows it’s set-up”.
WOWZERS. Well it’s not like we thought she’d raise her pinky finger in the air and say ‘no thank you daaahhhling’.
And if the bleached blonde singer wasn’t interested in the fame, she certainly wouldn’t have had her head turned by the fortune either. According to Chloe, she was only offered £50 per episode. Ouch.
With her new-found X Factor fame, though, it looks like she might be having the last laugh – that is if she finds success in the live finals.
Chloe was picked as one of Cheryl’s final three in the Girls category – along with Lauren Platt and Stephanie Nala – in a nail-biting Judges’ Houses episode on Sunday night.
And if column inches are anything to go by, she’s pretty much won the show already – with a string of headlines accusing her of a messy past (which she denied), attending Killing Kittens sex club (also denied) and this audition of her in 2006 doing the rounds amidst fake accusations.
