Brian Friedman hasn’t held back about his thoughts on Lauren Platt after she failed to impress him during last weekend’s X Factor.
You may remember that Lauren was struggling with her rendition of Dark Horse during the VT before her performance, largely due to Brian’s choreography.
To be fair to Lauren, the ‘shoulder shimmy, hair flick’ is a tough move to master – and she just about pulled it off on the night.
A solid effort.
In fact, surely viewers who wanted to watch high quality dancing on a Saturday night would have been watching Judy Murray on BBC1? So what is Brian’s beef?
Writing in his Daily Mirror column, Brian ‘I worked with Britney dontcha know?’ Friedman let rip at the youngster for getting upset over learning three seconds of dancing.
He wrote: “There was a lot of drama with Lauren Platt’s dance routine – she literally had three seconds, but it was like we were asking her to do an Olympic run.
“She didn’t embrace it. She got on stage at the live show and threw it away.
“She could have had a stellar performance. I thought it would be a standout moment in the show and it did let me down.
“Now we know her limitations.”
Brian, proving himself to be a brilliant and encouraging teacher.
