Stereo Kicks have hit back at Katie Hopkins after putting up with weeks of negative comments from the TV commentator on Twitter.
This morning, Tom Mann, 21, finally lost his cool with the 39-year-old rent-a-gob, after she implied that he and his band were all uneducated.
In case you missed it, it went something like this:
Speaking exclusively to Yahoo Celebrity today, Tom explained why he couldn’t bite his tongue anymore.
He told us: “She’s sent quite a few mean tweets and the reply was not out of bitterness on our part.
“There’s nothing constructive, it’s needless.
“Usually we would leave that sort of stuff but if she’s going to do it we’ll come back having a bit of a laugh.”
“She’s been doing it every week and it’s just like ‘shut up,’” James Graham added.
Tom then chipped in: “Yeah, she’s a k**b. “
“We despise her,” James concluded.
Now that Stereo Kicks have finally left the competition, Tom revealed that the boys are planning on staying together in the hope of landing a record deal.
He said: “When you think, we’ve been an eight piece throughout the competition we’ve still lasted all the time that we have – fifth place is an achievement.
“A lot of people have voted for us and invested in us as an eight piece so we’ll stay together. In the short term we’ll do a few gigs, go home for Christmas, do the tour, which we can’t wait for, and then hopefully, we don’t want to rush anything, we want to make some music.”
As for who the band want to see win the show, the boys are backing singer Ben Haenow – and for good reason.
“We’ve got twenty quid on him to win and we really want our money back,” Chris revealed.
“He’s just what you see on camera, he’s just genuine, likeable and would be a great winner and his voice is amazing,” James added.
