X Factor 2015: Louis Walsh Brands Cheryl Fernandez-Versini ‘Lazy’ And ‘Irrelevant’

Louis Walsh still might not really know if he’s coming or going on The X Factor, but thing that he DOES seem to be pretty clear on is his opinion of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.

Sadly for Chezza, he wasn’t *exactly* singing her praises and affectionately calling her ‘pet’, instead choosing to slam her as “lazy” and “irrelevant.”

HAWAY MAN.

Having a little chinwag with heat magazine, the 62-year-old wasn’t exactly holding back when it came to discussing his fellow judge.

He admitted: “Cheryl wasn’t great last year. She’s sometimes lazy and lacks energy.

“She needs to give more, she can give so much more. She’s irrelevant these days.”

Erm, you okay, hun? We know you don’t get on like a house on fire or anything, but MEOW.

He then added: “I know people say the same about me, but apart from anything, I am fun and I have a rapport with Simon [Cowell].”

Well, we can’t exactly deny that. Even if the rapport does mainly consist of Simon telling him to be quiet when he’s trying to give tell another contestant they’re a young [insert legendary singer/band here].

As well as getting his claws stuck into Cheryl (that sounds weird…), Louis was also insistant that he hadn’t been fired from the show, revealing: “I was never sacked, that’s the truth.”

Just last week, he told MailOnline that he wasn’t entirely sure what was going on with the next series, explaining: “People keep asking me what’s happening with X Factor, but – honestly – I don’t know.

“I definitely haven’t been fired, but I haven’t been hired either, so it’s all up in the air. Either way, there are two empty seats to fill, but that’s all I know.

“More importantly, I feel at peace with whatever happens.”

He went on to say he loves working with Simon and that it would be a shame for their TV bromance to come to an end.

AGREED, LOUIS.

If the whole ‘Louis being sacked/Louis leaving’ thing does turn out to be a load of poppycock, let’s just hope they don’t put him next to Chezza on the panel.
