This weekend’s X Factor will see yet another double elimination – the fourth time this has happened in the competition so far.
Come on guys, it was shocking at first, but we’ve been more surprised that you’ve only had single eliminations for the past two weeks.
The act with the fewest votes will automatically leave after all seven have performed during Saturday’s dubiously themed Elton John Vs. Whitney Houston week.
Seriously, who comes up with these?
Then it will be business as usual on Sunday night where the two acts with the fewest votes will face each other in the sing-off, with the judges probably unable to make a unanimous decision, leaving everyone to be up in arms about the vote going deadlock for the 17th time. Or something.
Last week’s sing-off survivor, Mr bandy legs Stevi Ritchie is currently the bookies favourite to get the axe with odds at 4/7.
A spokesperson from William Hill said: “Stevi has looked as though he has enjoyed every minute of the X Factor and in doing so has entertained us but it looks likely that the jig is up.”
But who will be following him out the door?
Well according to the bookies Only The Young are the next most likely at 7/2, closely followed by Octoband at 5/1.
With the competition fast drawing to a close, the current odds for who will take the X Factor 2014 crown looks as follows: 5/4 Andrea Faustini; 11/4 Ben Haenow; 3/1 Fleur East; 6/1 Lauren Platt; 25/1 Only the Young; 33/1 Stereo Kicks; 40/1 Stevi Ritchie.
